Resident Reviews of Foster Hall

I lived here my freshman year and the atmosphere was fantastic! People are very social and the Northwest neighborhood has a strong community feel. The dorm rooms themselves are pretty small, but the dorm has all the basic needs- decent bathrooms, RAs on the floors, etc. The location is great as it’s a short walk to Kelley and the center of campus. Once renovations are done, I would still recommend the Northwest neighborhood.
- Freshman | April 2
The rooms have recently been updated, which was my major concern. Aside from that, the location is perfect. It is close to classes, dining, athletic activities, and also the rec center.

Foster is a pretty typical experience for a freshman year dorm room. Filled with a lot of very social people, it was an awesome way to get adjusted to university. There was enough space for my roommate and I in our rooms and had a big window.
- Sophomore | April 7
Foster had the most friendly people and I loved getting to know everyone on my floor. The room was a good size and my roommate and I never had issues with the furniture! The bathrooms were usually pretty dirty but I think that’s basically of the people on my floor, not the form staffs fault. Overall it was a good year in foster!

Foster was the best decision I could have made about freshman living. It won’t work out well if you don’t want a social freshman year but if you like to constantly have action around your neighborhood, choose Northwest.
