  • About Harwood Court

The oldest residence built on Pomona's South Campus (but renovated in 2010), Hardwood Court provides residents with modern facilities. The residence features upgraded plumbing and electrical systems, improved sustainability, and still maintains the original charm of a 1920's dorm. The hall is arranged around a central courtyard, and houses a population of 170 students. There is a large main lounge area with a kitchen, TV room and a grand piano. Laundry is located in the basement. Single and double rooms are available, and the dorm's population is mostly first-year students and sophomores.

There is no AC. Highly suggest getting more than two fans for the socal heat waves. I absolutely hate that this college can invest so much in other amenities but cannot provide equitable access to AC for all first years. No student should have to suffer through 100+ degree weather without AC
