Resident Reviews of Fletcher Hall

Room is great for a upperclass student wanting his own space while keeping it affordable. The hall is one of the oldest on campus, so students have to balance the beautiful architecture with the jury-rugged amenities (the A/C is especially turbulent). The bathroom is just down the hall, as is the kitchen/common room. The walk to the nearest library and lecture halls is less than five minutes, ditto for the local gym and the football stadium. Right across the street are numerous bars and restaurants.

I live in a two-room double in Fletcher Hall, and like other places in the Murphree Area, every room is a different size and shape. My room is on the smaller size but not the smallest. I had to loft my bed to fit my wardrobe in my room but I have a gorgeous bay window. I am also directly in between the bathroom and common room at 210, but sadly my window directly faces mid. When I go out, it’s the best because the location is DIRECTLY across the street, but otherwise it can be a bit loud. I love living here though, I just wish they would update the AC units!
