Schramm is quiet on weekdays and loud on weekends. It’s nice because you don’t have to worry too much about making noise bc the floor, ceiling and wall is all made of concrete and brick so it’s pretty private. I’m in a super double and it’s very roomy, the standard dorms are fine though. The bathrooms are better than I expected and the study rooms are nice. Right next to Harper Dining Hall which consistently has great food. It’s really a great hall to live in, you just don’t get the extra amenities you’d get from living in Abel or Knoll (places to eat inside, massive common areas that are newly renovated). Nothing is too old or run down or anything, and the people are nice and friendly. It’s a standard dorm life with no extra bells or whistles. The main reason I don’t give it an A is that it is SO FAR AWAY from everything. It is easily a 10-15 minute walk anywhere you want to go on campus, and more if you’re going off campus. Definitely bring your car if you live in HSS and bring a winter coat and warm clothes because you’ll be doing a lot of walking. Also, for all my gamers who were wondering, yes, Ethernet is available and it’s very fast. The dorm wifi is super fast.
